Guitarist Pete Pancrazi Quartet
Pete Pancrazi is a seasoned jazz guitarist and vocalist whose lifelong dedication to music shines through every performance. A graduate of the prestigious Berklee College of Music, where he earned his Bachelor of Music degree, Pete also holds a Master’s degree in Jazz Performance from Arizona State University.Recognized by DownBeat Magazine as “one to watch” and a guitarist “deserving greater attention,” Pete has been a standout presence in the Phoenix jazz scene since making it his home in 1990. Over the years, he has built a loyal following drawn to his nimble guitar work, warm vocals, and engaging stage presence.
Whether performing solo or alongside his trio or quartet, Pete brings a rich and dynamic sound to top jazz venues across Arizona. His repertoire spans original compositions, straight-ahead jazz, Latin influences, and creative interpretations of American Songbook classics and contemporary tunes.
Acclaimed bassist Todd Johnson is a pioneer of the six-string electric bass whose innovative style allows him to perform bass lines, chords and melodies simultaneously. A respected performer, recording artist and educator, Todd is widely recognized for expanding the possibilities of the instrument through his unique approach to jazz performance.
Clarinetist Jeff Quamo brings both classical artistry and jazz versatility to the group. Holding a doctorate in Clarinet Performance from Arizona State University, Jeff has performed with ensembles including the Phoenix Symphony, Arizona Opera and Symphony of the Southwest, while also maintaining an active career as a jazz soloist and educator in the Phoenix area.
On drums, Gerry Reynolds provides the rhythmic foundation with decades of experience performing throughout Arizona’s jazz community. A longtime fixture in the regional jazz scene, Gerry is known for his tasteful, dynamic playing and collaborations with many of the Southwest’s top jazz musicians.
